Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has revealed Eden Hazard has resumed light training but his recovery is a little slower than expected.
Hazard picked up a muscle injury in his right leg towards the end of last month with Madrid confirming the former Chelsea man will be out for a month. Zidane was addressing the press ahead of his side's Champions League encounter against Shakhtar Donetsk in Champions League.
"Today he has stepped on the grass again, but his recovery is a little slower than expected. Hopefully, he will come in soon and be with us all season," he said.
On losing to Cadiz
"We are all in the same boat. Criticism makes us all stronger," he said.
"What we can do is go back to work. There is a game every three days. We deserve the criticism, me first, but let’s go to try to change the dynamics in tomorrow’s game. There will always be criticism, even winning."
Injury update on Sergio Ramos
"He has a problem and at the moment he has not trained with us. We do not want to risk anything. We will see if he will be there tomorrow, but today he has not been able to train normally," he explained.
Ramos was substituted during the loss to Cadiz over the weekend.
