Harambee Stars will have a new coach by Wednesday 21 October 2020 according to Football Kenya Federation in a presser.
The move will come just a day after the national team parted ways with Francis Kimanzi and his technical l bench; rumours rife that former Stars coach Jacob ‘Ghost’ Mulee will be the man to take over the team.
In a presser released to newsrooms on Tuesday, FKF noted: “Football Kenya Federation president Nick Mwendwa will on Wednesday, October 21, 2020, unveil the new Harambee Stars coach.”
The event will be held at Safari Park from 11: 30 am with the new tactician expected to guide Stars in their AFCON and World Cup qualifiers.
Kimanzi left together with his assistant Zedekiah Otieno and goalkeeper trainer Lawrence Webo with the new man expected to take charge with a new look technical bench.
Kimanzi has been barely at the helm of the team after being promoted to the position following Sebastien Migne departure almost immediately after the 2019 African Cup of Nations where Kimanzi served as the Frenchman’s assistant.
