Asamoah Gyan is set to complete four-year move to Ghana side Legon Cities

Ghana Premier League side Legon Cities are on the verge of signing striker Asamoah Gyan according to reports from Ghanasoccernet.

Gyan who has been a free agent since leaving Indian Super League side NorthEast United in January 2020 has reportedly reached an agreement with Legon Cities.

The 34-year-old had expressed his desire to play for Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko but the club failed to meet his set of demands.

As per Ghanasoccernet reports, it is believed that Gyan will sign a four-year deal that will seem him remain at the club until June 2024 and he is expected to earn $1 million in the process.

This is a massive reunion for Ghanaian fans as Gyan left Liberty Professionals 17 years ago to pursue a move abroad and he became quite the journeyman throughout his career.
