Dutch-Ghanaian defender Jeremie Frimpong has expressed his condolences to Manchester City youth academy player Jeremy Wisten who passed away tragically.
Wisten ended his life at the age of 17 after he suffered from depression following his release from City.
"The Manchester City family are saddened to learn of the passing of former academy player Jeremy Wisten. We send our deepest condolences to his friends and family," the club posted via their social media.

The 19-year-old posted a picture of Jeremy Wisten on his Instagram page and wrote: "Rest easy Jez, can't believe it."
A Go Fund Me page has been created to raise funds to ensure that the family of the youngster gives him well-deserved farewell. The page has already garnered over 9,000 euros.
