FC Barcelona boss Ronald Koeman has described their win over Juventus on Wednesday night as the best since he took charge of the team.
Barca had suffered back to back defeats at the hands of Getafe and Real Madrid in Laliga with Koeman calling for calm but after their game against Juve in Turin, the Dutch manager felt that his side played a great game.
“It is always important to create chances in a game and we have been superior tonight. I think we have played a great game tonight. We have created opportunities and we possibly could have secured the win earlier.
“I think this was our most complete performance and our best game so far this season,” Koeman said in a post-game interview with Marca.
Barca maintained their perfect start to their Champions League season with a 2-0 win over the Andrea Pirlo coached side with their goals scored by Ousmane Dembele and Lionel Messi; the win placing them on top of Group G that has Dynamo Kiev and Ferencvaros too.
On the Laliga front, Koeman’s side has picked up seven points from their first three games of the season with the club facing a busy November with games against Alaves and Real Betis either side of a home game against Sergei Rebrov’s Dynamo Kiev coming up.
