DStv Premiership giants Kaizer Chiefs return to CAF Champions League football to visit PWD Bamenda.
Amakhosi find themselves in the Champions League’s preliminary round this season after finishing as runners up in the 2019/20 Absa Premiership.
Confirming the start of the campaign next weekend in West Africa, Chiefs posted the traveling and venue details for the Cameroonian champions.
“The first game takes place on Sunday, 29 November at the Limbe Omnisports Stadium in Limbe, with kick-off at 16:00 (SA Time)," the club said on its website.
"Chiefs will then host the Cameroonians in the return leg. The date, venue and kick-off time will be confirmed soon."
Chiefs remains the biggest and most-supported club in Sub-Subsuhan African but has never began to build any pedigree on the continent with neither Champions League or the Confederation Cup. Could this be the turn around? It's unlikely during this season as the club faces a season-long transfer ban imposed by FIFA.
Meanwhile, Gavin Hunt’s side have local football to take care of with a trip to Durban to face Golden Arrows on Saturday.
