Meetings between these two French giants have been goal-filled affairs in recent years and tonight's match had that trend continuing.
Check out our brief preview:
Monaco 0-1 Paris Saint Germain (Kylian Mbappé 25')
Angel Di Maria finds Kylian Mbappe on the edge of the area, and he times his run to perfection and beautifully chips the ball over the goalkeeper to the high center of the goal.
Monaco 0-2 Paris Saint Germain (Kylian Mbappé 37')
The pacy French forward wins the battle of wills and sends an unstoppable penalty past Vito Mannone into the right side of the goal to give the visitors a hold on the lead.
Monaco 1-2 Paris Saint Germain (Kevin Volland 52')
The former Bayer Leverkusen striker gets on the end of a pass inside the box and fires into the bottom left corner. The ball leaves goalkeeper Navas helpless.
Monaco 2-2 Paris Saint Germain (Kevin Volland 52')
Kevin Volland scores again, but this is all about Cesc Fabregas.
Tchouameni plays a chipped ball to the back post where Fabregas made his run.
Navas comes out to close the angle down and Fabregas delightfully lifts it over him and is wiped out by the keeper.
No need for a penalty though as the ball lands at Volland's feet three yards out and he has another empty net to roll the ball home.
Monaco 3-2 Paris Saint Germain (Kevin Volland 84')
Diallo dallies on the ball inside his own defensive third. Volland pounces on a slip and breaks into the box.
Despite being wide of the goal, he is dragged back by Diallo not once, but twice. Volland hits the deck and Diallo is off.
Fabregas, who has singlehandedly changed the complexion of this whole game, then runs up, takes a stutter, before finding the top left-hand corner of Navas' net.
