English Premier League giants Manchester United are believed to have been put off by David Alaba’s costs.
As widely reported here on Futaa, the 28-year-old Alaba will be available to leave Bayern Munich as a free agent at the end of the season, but still won’t come cheap.
According to the Athletic, the Austrian left-footed central defender has high costs that the Red Devils are not willing to meet.
“Manchester United have been credited with an interest in the 28-year-old, who can play full-back, centre-back and midfield to an elite standard.
“But having been made aware of the costs associated with the move, United will not be entering the running, it can be confirmed,” concluded the report.
Meanwhile, Man United could go second on the Premier League table if Solskajaer’s side beat Wolves at Old Trafford on Tuesday.
