DStv Premiership side Maritzburg United have reportedly signed Clayton Daniels on a free deal.
As reported here on Futaa, the 36-year-old central defender made a shock exit out of SuperSport United last month, after a failure to agree on the terms of a new contract.
According to KickOff, Daniels has now found a new home in the KwaZulu Natal midlands, where Ernst Middendorp arrived this month to rescue the club from relegation.
"Clayton Daniels has signed with Maritzburg United and is expected to be registered with the PSL today," a source close to the club confirms to KickOff.com.
Additionaly, the club known as the Team of Choice are working on adding Reyaad Pieterse.
"The club is now looking for a goalkeeper to reinforce their goalkeeping department. Reyaad Pieterse is another goalkeeper that the club is intending to bring to Pietermaritzburg in the new year," concluded the outlet.
