Serie A giants Juventus are intending to sign Olivier Giroud from Chelsea in the next few weeks at most.
Giroud is confirmed to be in Juventus’ shortlist of strikers to sign in January, which includes other possibility targets like Napoli's Arkadiusz Milik and Fernando Llorente.
“Juventus are interested in signing Olivier Giroud from Chelsea in the January transfer window,” Sky reported.
Giroud, whose contract ends this summer, is near the Chelsea exit door after he was not assured of gametime while the Euros and World Cup approach near to threaten his starting berth in the France national side.
Juventus’ follows after the 34-year-old’s nine goals in 15 appearances for Chelsea this season, and a club total of 18 in 34 games.
