French Ligue 2 side Amiens have decided to cut short the loan deal of Liverpool defender Adam Lewis.
Lewis joined the side last summer on season-long loan and made nine appearances for the club but according to French publication RMC, the side has decided to part ways with the 21-year-old left-back.
Lewi has made one first-team appearance for Liverpool, against Shrewsbury Town in last season’s FA Cup and is the third choice option in the left-back position with Andy Robertson and Kostas Tsimikas above him in the pecking order; his return expected to land him in the side’s U23 side.
Adam Lewis will return to Liverpool from his loan spell with Ligue 2 side Amiens, after the 21-year-old “failed to convince the staff” at the club, with manager Oswald Tanchot not picking him since the 7th November.
