West Ham's search for a striker continues with the latest player to be linked with the team being Borussia Monchengladbach's Alassane Plea.
The Hammers are in the market to look for a replacement for Sebastien Haller who departed for Ajax this month and according to The Mirror via The Hammers News, David Moyes sees Plea as someone who could help the goalscoring burden from Michail Antonio.
The 27-year-old has scored 32 goals in 82 games for Monchengladbach since arriving in the summer of 2018 and has an impressive goalscoring record having bagged 44 goals in 135 games for Nice in the French Ligue 1 before.
Despite their strikers struggling in front of goal, West Ham is currently placed ninth on the log with 29 points where they have won their last two games. They come against West Brom on Tuesday 19 January as they seek to keep pace with the chasing pack.
