English Premier League side Crystal Palace has signed Jean-Phillipe Mateta from Bundesliga side Mainz.
As reported here on Futaa on Wednesday, Palace arrived in London to undergo his medical before the 23-year-old center forward was eventually announced on Thursday morning.
The former Lyon striker earned this 18-month loan deal after impressing Palace with 10 goals in 17 games for Mainz this season.

According to SkySports, the deal is worth €3m (£2.7m), including an obligation to buy for €15m (£13.4m) if and when Mateta has started 15 Premier League games.
The 1.92 m tall striker could make his debut at home to West Ham United in a league game on Tuesday.
