Mohammed Salah to start against Man United

Liverpool manager has intimated that Mohammed Salah will start in their Sunday FA Cup game against Manchester United.

Salah started on the bench in Liverpool’s last outing against Burnely, a match they lost by a solitary goal and when asked about the availability of the player in the coming game, Klopp said:  "Yes, it makes it absolutely likely that Mo will start. I don't think that is a massive secret."

The German further stated that leaving the player on the bench had nothing to do with his contract situation with many having had the thought that the player not settling had affected his performance on the pitch.

"I don't think so. That's a normal thing as well in the world of football. It's not that we go out and talk about things we think are important, it's pretty rare. But we get asked questions and we answer and that's the story and [it looks like] we started the conversation.

"In most cases, it's not like that. No, I don't think it will disrupt the season," he added.

Salah's situation at Liverpool is causing a stir after the Egyptian admitted previously that he was open to a new challenge most preferably in Spain with both Barca and Real Madrid said to be interested in the player.
