Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar has unapologetically embraced his unpopular lifestyle off the pitch.
The 28-year-old Brazilian has remained as one of the best attackers in world football at Barcelona and later at PSG - all while carrying the labels of ‘bad boy’, immature’ and ‘party boy.’
"So, who doesn't like to party? Everyone likes to have fun," Neymar told ESPN, as quoted by Soccer Laduma.
"I know when I can go, I know when I can do it, when I can't. Contrary to what people think, that I'm immature, that I don't know what I do.
"I've been in football for several years. If you stay 100% with your head focused on just playing football, in my opinion, you end up exploding.
"It is my time to relax, to be calm... I will never stop doing it,” concluded the attacking midfielder with 13 goals and five assists this season.
Meanwhile, PSG, with three points behind league leaders Lille after 22 games, take on Nimes on Wednesday night.
