Paris Saint Germain winger Angel Di Maria has dropped a bomb by claiming that he might play alongside Lionel Messi next season.
Messi future at Barca has been a subject of speculation since threatening to leave the club last summer with his links to PSG growing strongly as the days go.
Di Maria whose contract with the French giants expires in the summer admitted that his camp and the club were working on a way to extend his stay.
“Yes, we are talking about a contract extension,” the player who scored the opener in PSG win against Nîmes and provided another assist in the game said.
Asked if he thought he was going to play with Messi at the club, Di Maria added: “I think there are many possibilities that Messi will sign for PSG. But we will have to wait.”
Angel Di Maria has scored his first league goal since the 7th November against Rennes.
