Liverpool are expecting forward Diogo Jota to make his return next month when they host Chelsea at Anfield.
Jota is yet to kick the ball since picking up a knee injury during a Champions League tie against Midtjylland on December 9. The Portuguese signed for Liverpool last summer from Wolves, for a reported fee of £41 million.
Jota has been training alone ahead of his expected comeback and MailOnline reports the forward will join the first session with teammates on Wednesday. He was reportedly set to return against Sheffield United this Sunday but further reports claim the match comes too soon.
But Jota could be in contention to make his comeback in Liverpool’s fixture against Chelsea at Anfield on March 4.
The 24-year-old has netted nine goals in 17 appearances for the Reds.
