English Premier League giants Liverpool have a substantial budget for a striker if Mohammed Salah decides to leave the club this summer.
Salah has constantly stated that he would not mind playing in Spain in the future and while Liverpool feels that there is no cause for alarm about the player’s future, they have set aside funds to help them in the market should anything happen.
Journalist Duncan Castles speaking via Express stated that Liverpool are looking for another winger in the summer who can double up as a striker.
“Liverpool has a budget to sign a striker, who can also play wide, in the summer window and it’s a substantial budget. They’re looking for a player of a similar type to Mo Salah. Now, I’m not saying that means Salah is leaving,” he said.
Salah has been linked with a move to either Real Madrid or Barcelona but the latest reports indicate that PSG might be interested in his services too.
It has been claimed that the latest interviews by the Egyptian on his future are a decoy by his representatives to demand more from the Reds with the player wanting the club to increase his wages something that the club isn’t willing to do.
