Manchester United has received a triple injury boost ahead of their Thursday Europa League tie against Granada.
United had left Manchester for Spain on Wednesday with the trio of Marcus Rashford, Juan Mata, and Alex Telles all named as part of the 24-man traveling squad.
Rashford was forced off with an ankle injury after scoring during the 2-1 win over Brighton & Hove Albion but manager Solskjaer suggested that he might not be fit to complete the entire game. Telles is back in contention after missing the win over Brighton with a knock while Mata has returned after recovering from an injury that’s hampered him in recent weeks.
Speaking ahead of the game, Solskjaer said: “Marcus is traveling and we have to make a decision tomorrow if he starts or is on the bench. I don’t think he’ll play the 90 minutes. Juan is back training as is Alex, so we’re looking stronger definitely. We didn’t lose anyone last weekend against Brighton.”
United however will be without defender Eric Bailly who tested positive for Covid with Anthony Martial also missing due to injury.
