Manchester United legend Gary Neville has officially declared Edinson Cavani as a success.
The 34-year-old Uruguayan striker arrived on deadline day as a free agent before the start of the season, much to the rejection of many United fans that wanted a younger hot striker.
"He's been a really brilliant example,” Neville said via Goal.
“I was a little bit nervous of him coming in, because of Falcao, Alexis Sanchez, showcase signings.
“This one has been different. He's really applied himself brilliantly and has been a big help to Manchester United.
"He does the right things. The right movements. It's clockwork, that run across the defender, across the near post, the one you're always trying to get young strikers to do,” the former Red Devils captain concluded.
Coming up next for United is the second leg Europa League quarter-finals against Granada on Thursday, before hosting Burnley in the Premier League on Sunday.
