Ole reveals team news for Granada clash

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has provided an update on his team ahead of Thursday's Europa League match against Granada.

The Reds lead 2-0 from the first leg and are favourites to make it into the last four.

They will however miss the services of Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw and Scott McTominay, who are all out due to suspension.

Speaking ahead of the match, the Norwegian further provided an update on Marcus Rashford and Daniel James.

“It's never a positive thing to not have every player available,” said Ole. “But we've got players ready to deputise and come into the team. Of course, the [bookings] amnesty is after this quarter-final so we hoped to get them through but there are some easy easy yellow cards there that the referee handed out. But we're ready to deal with that.

“We have to make sure that we get through. I always pick a team to win a game. There will be a few changes; some of them are forced and some of them are maybe rotation.”

“Yes Marcus didn’t train this morning so I’ll have to give him as much time as possible, his foot is still a little bit sore, but fingers crossed he is available tomorrow,” the manager said.

“Dan James is back. He trained this morning so he should be available. Of course, we’ve lost a few through suspension for this game against Granada.”

Eric Bailly is back in England following his COVID-19 positive test but will be unavailable for the match.
