Juventus and Portugal icon Cristiano Ronaldo has annoyed more Italian former players for his emotional outbursts.
As was in the news over the past month, Ronaldo was the center of two controversial moments where he first marched out of the pitch before throwing his captain armband on the ground on Portugal, before throwing his jersey on the ground a week later in Serie A.
"Ronaldo has never been a leader where he has played and he never will be," former Juventus star Massimo Mauro told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"He is like a company and his turnover is more important to him than the success of the team.
"Cristiano doesn't drag his teammates along with him, he always wants them to give him the ball to score goals. He is a great individualist, he is not a team player.
"From the point of view of results, Juventus with him did not do better than in the past, they even did worse in the Champions League.
"That is why the best thing for both of them is that their paths separate,” he concluded.
Up next for Ronaldo and Juve is the visit of Parma in Serie A on Wednesday.
