Sacked Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho has been linked with several moves with Scottish giants Celtic said to be one of the many teams interested in his services.
Mourinho was sacked on Monday by Spurs and immediately insisted that he didn’t want to rest as his representative is believed to have started looking for another club for him.
Celtic is in the market for a manager after parting ways with Neil Lennon last month and despite reports that they can’t afford Mourinho wages, the Sun reports that the Portuguese might want to go to a club where he will have less pressure before bouncing back.
Apart from Mourinho, the report further states that former AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe remains the favorite for the Parkhead job but Celtic wants a manager who can shift the power from Steven Gerrard’s Rangers.
Apart from Celtic, Juventus is said to be interested in the Portuguese should they sack Andrea Pirlo, a move to the MLS and a return to Porto have been muted as the next possibilities for Mourinho.
