Manchester United defender Brandon Williams has been slammed by the club’s fans after he accidentally posted a picture of Liverpool's Champions League parade.
The young Englishman was celebrating United’s move to pull out of the European Super League with the player posting online minutes after his side confirmed their plans of withdrawing from the proposed competition.
With his captain Harry Maguire having led the way in taking to social media about the move, the 20-year-old took to Instagram where he uploaded a picture of their rivals celebrating their remarkable Champions League triumph in Istanbul in 2005, accompanied with the caption: "To you all, everyone is equal."
After spotting the error, the left-back replaced the post with an image of his club's own parade with the caption: "To you all, we are ALL equal."
His error didn’t go unnoticed as some of his fans trolled him for the mistake.
