Real Madrid to allow Chelsea and Man United target Varane to leave

Real Madrid are willing to listen to offers for defender Raphael Varane this summer.

Varane has been linked with a move away from Madrid with Premier League sides Chelsea and Manchester United monitoring the defender's situation. Club's president Florentino Perez seems to have opened the door for Varane to leave this summer.

The Los Blancos valued the Frenchman at over £100million less than two years ago and are keen to avoid allowing him to leave for free in 2022.

"Varane? I’m happy with our team… if players don’t want to stay at Madrid they can leave," said the club's president Perez.

United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to bring Varane at Old Trafford and partner with Harry Maguire.

The 27-year-old has just over a year to run on his current deal with Madrid.
