Premier League duo of Manchester United and Arsenal are set to go head to head for the services of striker Alassane Plea.
The Borussia Monchengladbach forward is a target for some teams in Europe following his descent outing this season with the Bundesliga side and the Mail reports that he might be on his way to England in the summer.
United is in the market for a striker after manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admitted that they might lose Edinson Cavani who is yet to decide on his future with Arsenal said to be weighing the futures of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette.
Plea who has been in the books of Monchengladbach since 2018 has netter 36 goals and 20 assists from 104 appearances for his club with the 28-year-old having two more years left on his current deal; the report stating that his club is willing to let him go for just £15 million.
Plea is not a regular goal scorer by any means, but they would be taking a gamble on a player approaching the back end of his career.
