Owing to massive fan demonstrations at Old Trafford, Manchester United's game against Liverpool this afternoon is now very likely to be delayed.
Anti-Glazer protestors have swarmed the Old Trafford pitch ahead of today's big match, creating just the kind of chaos that was expected.
Despite the fact that teams were previously informed that the game will start at the originally scheduled time of 6.30 p.m. (EAT), it now appears that the game will have to wait.

Match "highly likely to be delayed".
#MUFC first team players still do know if today's game vs #LFC is going ahead or not. They've not been given a decision yet.— Leah Smith (@LeahSmith_) May 2, 2021
There are major concerns over what could happen to the LFC team bus as there are reportedly still fans outside the hotel.
These demonstrations follow the recent European Super League drama, in which Manchester United was named one of the 12 founding member clubs of a new breakaway competition.
However, this was extremely controversial and rapidly disintegrated, though it seems that Red Devils fans are still eager to protest against their owners.
