When David Luiz's contract expires at the conclusion of the season, he will leave Arsenal.
The Brazilian, who signed from Chelsea for £8 million two years ago, reportedly informed the Gunners this week that he will not sign an extension to his contract.
The 34-year-old has been linked with a free transfer to David Beckham's Inter Miami, where he would reunite with former PSG teammate Blaise Matuidi in Major League Soccer.
Luiz has appeared in 73 games for Arsenal, scoring four goals.
Last season, he helped the north London team win the FA Cup, defeating his former side 2-1 in the final at Wembley.
Luiz has missed Arsenal's previous three games due to a hamstring injury. He has 57 caps for Brazil.
Mikel Arteta has a lot of choices in central defense, with Calum Chambers, Rob Holding, Pablo Mari, and Gabriel all having played a lot this season.
In the meantime, William Saliba, who was sent on loan to Nice in January, is anticipated to get a chance to shine in pre-season.
