The Premier League transfer window swung open on 9 June and will run for 12 weeks until 31 August.
Chelsea, as other top clubs, have been linked with a number of summer targets as they look to build on their impressive achievements last season.
The team needs little or no strengthening, with coach Thomas Tuchel admitting after the Champions League win over Man City that he would want 'two or three players this summer.
The Blues have a large contingent of players who spent last season on loan, and they might prove effective if they miss on a number of their top targets.
One player Tuchel cannot count on though is Fikayo Tomori, whose loan deal at AC Milan was made permanent on Wednesday after the Italian club triggered his release clause.
The defender is now expected to complete a £25 million move to the Italian giants, where he shone last season playing alongside Simon Kjaer.
One area the Blues are expected to strengthen is upfront, with Erling Haaland mooted as a possible recruit.
The Norwegian though will command a massive fee, and if the deal falls through, the Blues are not lacking in that department.
Armando Broja has had an exceptional loan at Vitesse, scoring 11 goals and providing 3 assists in 36 matches for the Eredivisie outfit. ing
He is set for a new contract, and there are reports indicating Tuchel will be happy to keep him at the club next season.
Another player who also impressed out on loan is Conor Gallagher with the relegated West Bromwich Albion.
The current Blues midfield is already packed, but the 21-year-old has shown attributes and seems to have all it takes to be a future Stamford Bridge legend.
Crystal Palace are interested in signing the midfielder and are expected to offer upwards of £15m as the opening bid.
Marc Guehi and Ross Barkly had decent loans at Swansea and Aston Villa respectively, but it's hard to see them returning to the club for the coming season considering the Blues are stacked in defense and midfield.
