Manchester United will not let Jesse Lingard leave easily despite not promising him more game time.
There have been reports that West Ham wants to get the player on a permanent basis with a chunk of clubs outside England interested in his services but United are standing their ground about the player's fee.
According to Fabrizio Romano, via The United Stand, who claims that clubs from abroad are interested in signing Lingard but were met with a stern response from his club.
Romano claims that Lingard will either play for West Ham or Manchester United, which means that seemingly nothing is advanced with any club overseas.
The transfer guru further claims that Lingard is still waiting for the Hammers [roposal which is yet to arrive. Romano also says that Manchester United is relaxed as they believe that should Lingard decide to stick around, he will commit to a new contract at Old Trafford.
There have been reports from other tabloids that Lingard won't accept anything less than what he currently earns at United something that is making it hard for his suitors to make a bid.
