Ajax captain Dusan Tadic is set to sign a new deal with the club until 2023.
Tadic had been linked with a move to AC Milan this summer but according to reports from both the De Telegraaf and Voetbal International, Tadić will pledge his loyalty to Ajax by extending his current contract by another year.
The current terms of his deal have Tadić under contract as a footballer until 2023 and as a trainer until 2026; the reports suggesting that the player will prolong his current terms with the club until 2024 and 2027, respectively.
After leaving Southampton, Tadić has contributed an incredible 76 goals and 70 assists in 149 games for the Amsterdam giants, nearly leading them to the Champions League final in his first season at the club.
The Ajax captain has also helped his side earn a pair of Eredivisie titles in addition to two KNVB Cups, winning domestic doubles in both 2019 and 2021.
