Man United tried Atletico Madrid's resolve by making a cheeky move for the Portuguese star Joao Felix.
According to Mundo Deportivo, cited by Sport Witness, the Red Devils recently made a great offer to bring him to Old Trafford but it was rebuffed almost immediately.
It was reported then that the payer wasn't happy at Atleti due to their style of play with Barcelona being the other team that shown an interest in the player as they needed exchange for Antoine Griezmann returning to the Wanda Metropolitano.
Atleti paid £114 million for the player from Benfica and there has always been a belief that he hasn't fully clicked in Spain owing to the potential he owed at his former club.
