French giants AS Monaco are interested in signing Arsenal striker Joe Willock this summer.
Willock who wants more game time had a brilliant display last season when he was at Newcastle United and while Steve Bruce wants to have him at James Park on a permanent deal, they are unable to pay the fee wanted by his parent club.
According to RMC Sport and cited by the Daily Mirror, AS Monaco has a strong interest in the player; the reports suggesting that former Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas might have convinced his team to bid for the player.
Mikel Arteta wants a proper revamp in his team and is already being linked with a move for Chelsea striekr Tammy Abraham as he seeks more fire power in his strikefroce.
Alexander Lacazette has been linked with a move away from the club too and Arteta isn't convinced that Willock can lead his attack should they lose captain Aubameyang to injury or to the African Cup of Nations which is expected early next year.
