Raheem Sterling has agreed to join Barcelona in the January window owing to frustration at Manchester City.
Sterling had expressed his displeasure at how he was being treated at the Etihad while on international duty with England in the Euro 2020 with SPORT reporting that he is attracting interest from Barca.
The reports say that Sterling is open to moving to Camp Nou in the winter if his position at the club isn't guaranteed.
Sterling has been one of the important players for the City team since joining them seven seasons ago from Liverpool.
The England international have started just one of the Citizens five matches in all competitions with manager Pep Guardiola preferring new signing Jack Grealish on the left wing, while the likes of Riyad Mahrez, Gabriel Jesus have seemingly eked past Sterling in the pecking order.
Barcelona were linked with a move for Sterling in the summer as well with technical director Mateu Alemany traveling down to England to hold talks. A potential swap deal involving one of Antoine Griezmann, Ousmane Dembele, or Sergi Roberto was mooted while a loan move was also discussed, but nothing materialized.
City is said to be ready to offload the player but the ball rests with manager Pep Guardiola who has the final say on the player's future.
