Here are ten things to look out for this weekend which you can also use to impress your friends. Let's see how many of those subplots unfold before our eyes.
🤺 Chelsea vs Man City
None of the last 12 Premier League meetings between Chelsea and Manchester City has ended level, with the west London club winning five to City's seven. Thomas Tuchel has had an overwhelming upper hand over his opposite number Pep Guardiola of late; Chelsea can become the first club in history to win four matches in a row against teams managed by the Spaniard.
🔴 Man United vs Aston Villa
No team in Premier League history has won more matches against an opponent than Manchester United’s 37 versus Aston Villa. Villa has lost both of their Premier League away contests this season, conceding three goals in each defeat.
🦚 Leeds vs West Ham
Leeds United has conceded five goals in their two home Premier League matches this season, as many as they had in their previous nine at Elland Road. They're also winless after five rounds, the last time they failed to win any of their first six matches of a top-flight campaign was back in 1935-36.
😮 Everton vs Norwich
Canaries head coach Daniel Farke has lost his last 15 Premier League contests – this is the longest losing run by a specific manager in English top-flight history.
🦊 Leicester vs Burnley
Leicester City has won their last six matches against bottom-three teams by an aggregate score of 15-2 and they're unbeaten in their last 10 home league contests vs Burnley (W6 D4). The visiting Clarets are winless in eight EPL outings.
🐝 Watford vs Newcastle

🥅 Brentford vs Liverpool
Liverpool has lost just one of their last 27 Premier League encounters with promoted sides (W22 D4), going down 1-0 at home to Fulham last season. If Mo Salah scores he will match Steven Gerrard's Liverpool record of 13 Premier League goals in London for the Anfield club.
🤨 Southampton vs Wolves
Wolves have been struggling to convert their chances. They've got the third-highest xG total in the Premier League this season (9.2) but have scored just two goals, with their difference of -7.2 the biggest negative difference between actual goals and expected goals in the division.
🕰 Arsenal vs Tottenham
The Gunners are aiming for back-to-back league wins over North London rivals Tottenham for the first time since 2013-14. Just one of the last 10 Spurs managers to take charge in a North London derby has won their first top-flight meeting against Arsenal (D5 L4), although that was Jose Mourinho most recently in July 2020. Harry Kane has scored 11 goals in North London Derbies, an all-time record figure, but he's yet to register a goal or an assist this season in four appearances.
🌊 Crystal Palace vs Brighton
Brighton has won both of their Premier League away matches this season. The Seagulls have never won three in a row on the road in the top-flight in their history. Of Brighton’s Premier League corners this season, 42% have led to a chance (11/26), the highest ratio in the division. Palace has conceded more goals from corner situations than any other side in the competition this term (3).
Another 10 matches filled with controversy and feverish talking points await. It all starts in the early kickoff at Stamford Bridge between the two sides who contested last season's Champions League final.
