🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Sterling says he's open to leaving Man City

Struggling Manchester City forward Raheem Sterling has made quite a massive admission about his future at the club.

The England international has said he is not at all against the idea of moving to play his football somewhere else in Europe.

The 26-year-old Sterling, whose deal with the English Premier League champions will run until 2023, said he would leave the club if he continues to struggle to get minutes on the matchday grass.

The former Liverpool star feels nothing is as crucial as playing competitive games. After all, that is what footballers are paid for.

"If there was the opportunity to go somewhere else, I would be open to it," Sterling said as quoted by the BBC.

"At this moment in time, football is the most important thing to me."

"I have always had something that maybe one day I would love to play abroad and see how I meet that challenge," the nippy forward added.

Meanwhile, Sterling is not guaranteed to start as Burnley visit the champions at the Etihad this weekend.
