Tuchel reveals Callum Hudson-Odoi’s 'best position'

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has revealed the best position for Callum Hudson-Odoi following the Blues win over Malmo in the Champions League on Wednesday evening.

Hudson-Odoi was introduced just before halftime following Timo Werner's injury and the forward made an impact providing an assist for the third goal as Chelsea beat Malmo 4-0. Under Tuchel, the England international has had less playing-time, making only two appearances in the Premier League this season.

He has also been played out of position as the right wing-back by Tuchel who says the player's best position is on the left side of Chelsea's attack.

Speaking to beIN Sports, Tuchel said, "This is his best position, I know."

"Sometimes he needs to help as a right wing-back, so he needs to take it for the team. But we know the half left position upfront is his best position."

The Blues suffered injury blow with Timo Werner and Romelu Lukaku all picking up injuries on Wednesday.
