🚨 Leeds secure much-needed win at Norwich

Norwich's wait for a first Premier League win continued on Sunday afternoon after they found themselves on the wrong end of a 2-1 scoreline against Leeds United.

After a cagey first-half, the game sprung to life in the second period with three goals in a space of six minutes, with Raphina and Rodrigo scoring for the visitors while Andrew Omobamidele grabbed the consolation for the home team.

The first chance of the afternoon fell to Leeds' Daniel James when he collected a brilliant pass inside the box and found himself in a goal-scoring opportunity.

His shot however was well blocked by one of the defending players.

There were few clear-cut chances in the remaining part of the half, with Mathias Normann coming close for Norwich just before the break but his shot from the edge of the penalty box flew just wide of the left post.

Ten minutes into the second half, Leeds took the lead through dangerman Raphina, who found the back of the net with a beautiful individual effort from inside the box.

Their lead however lasted less than two minutes as the hosts hit back to level scores.

Omobamidele displayed his eye for goal as he coolly planted a header home from close range after a fine cross following a corner kick.

Despite both sides fighting hard to add to their respective tallies, there were no more goals
