🇩🇪 Man United's Rangnick misses out on Arsenal debut, Carrick to remain in charge

Manchester United have confirmed Ralf Rangnick won't be on the bench against Arsenal on Thursday.

The Red Devils will host Mikel Arteta's firing Gunners at Old Trafford on Thursday, just a few days after appointing Rangnick as interim manager.

He's officially the manager so why not take charge?

The club has confirmed that the German is being held by the always frustrating VISA application process we all know.

"Manchester United have confirmed Michael Carrick will remain in caretaker charge for the Premier League game against Arsenal on Thursday," the club said.

"Ralf Rangnick was announced as interim manager on Monday but, while the club follows the regulatory process around a work visa, Carrick will continue at the helm," the update added.

Meanwhile, Rangnick's next opportunity to make his debut on United's bench will be on Sunday at home to Crystal Palace.
