🦁 Premier League: Manchester United's Top FIVE Goals v Arsenal

New Manchester United manager Ralf Rangnick will take charge of his first match on Thursday night as the Reds host rivals Arsenal in an English Premier League clash.

What a way it will be for the German, getting his first match in charge against a perennial rival.

The two sides, alongside Liverpool, are the most successful in the Premier League history and have shared some memorable moments over the years.

Goals are some of the most memorable moments and here are some of the top Man United goals against the Gunners.

Ashley Young

Arsenal's biggest defeat in the Premier League was against Man United, the much-talked-about 8-2 demolition.

There was a Wayne Rooney hat-trick and some eye-catching goals. Among them was Ashley Young's curler from the edge of the box in what was his first goal at United and the club's second on the day.

Cristiano Ronaldo free-kick

The Portuguese enjoyed some cracking goals in his first spell at Man United, and he is back again like he never left.

He will be key as United host the Gunners tonight. He has also scored some goals against tonight's opponents, notably that Champions League from an impossible angle in 2009.

The winger squeezed it in from 40 yards out on the right flank, helping United seal the tie 3-0 on aggregate.

Owen Hargreaves

In 2008 the title race was between three teams: Manchester United, Chelsea, and Arsenal, and two of those, the Red Devils and the Gunners, met at Old Trafford.

With the match tid at 1-1, Patrice Evra was brought down 25 yards from goal and Hargreaves curled a superb free-kick over the wall and past the stranded Lehmann for the three  points.

Wayne Rooney

Wayne Rooney capped off a stunning counter-attacking goal in 2010. a move that involved Ji Sung Park, Luis Nani, and the Englishman. Counter-attacking football at its best.

John O'Shea

O'Shea was a scorer of important goals for Man United and there was no stopping this powerful strike against the Gunners in 2004/05.

With the Reds leading 3-2 in the dying minutes of the match, O'Shea scored a beautiful goal to ensure they picked maximum points.
