Chelsea FC boss Thomas Tuchel has opened up on Romelu Lukaku's form following the Belgians' low output in recent games.
Lukaku has come under scrutiny by the club fans and Tuchel admitted that the striker needs a spark if he is to be a regular starter at the club.
“All he needs is that spark. He maybe would’ve been a natural starter against Crystal Palace given the minutes Kai has played and the matches recently, but after a period of injury, he lacked the fitness for matches. I don’t point the finger at him, it’s just a fact," Tuchel said ahead of their clash with Arsenal on Wednesday night.
🗣 “What he needs is maybe that one moment, that one spark.”

Tuchel further admitted that the player ought to have scored in their Champions League game against Real Madrid and their FA Cup tie against Crystal Palace.
“Romelu should’ve had a goal against Real Madrid and Crystal Palace, but if he plays we need all that he has," the German added.
Chelsea will be hoping to beat Arsenal so as to cement their place in the top three with the North London side keen on boosting their top-four chances after losing their last two games.
