🚨 Ornstein Exclusive: Paul Pogba has decided to move abroad

Football journalist and The Athletic Correspondent David Ornstein has revealed Paul Pogba has decided to move abroad.

Pogba has been linked with a move away from United with rivals Manchester City keen to secure his services. However, recent reports claimed that the Frenchman turned down a move to City over potential backlash from United fans.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Ornstein believes that wasn't necessarily the case with Pogba and United preparing to part ways this summer.

He told Sky Sports News: "I don't think Pogba and his representatives would have entertained the Manchester City interest.

"I think it was just a mutual opportunity that arose as a free agent. Manchester City were probably clear in what they could do financially and from a sporting perspective, as would the other clubs that said they are interested - the likes of Juventus, Real Madrid, and Paris Saint-Germain.

"As I understand it, Pogba decided to choose one of the other options, as simple as that. So I wasn't aware of it being a tribal thing, although that might have been a consideration in his mind.

"I don't think he'll be staying at Manchester United. I think they're planning for life without him and he's planning for life without them."

Pogba's contract with United is set to expire at the end of the current campaign.
