Jurgen Klopp will reportedly push for Christian Pulisic's signature if Sadio Mane leaves the club this summer.
The American has become unsettled in recent months at Chelsea and could push for a move away in the summer.
Liverpool could lose the influential Sadio Mane in the summer, with Pulisic viewed as a like-for-like replacement.
Klopp, who worked with the American international in his last season at Borussia Dortmund knows the winger's potential and could make a move to snap him up.
It will not be easy though to convince Chelsea to sell to a Premier League rival.
Pulisic is currently away on international duty with the USA ahead of their busy run of fixtures this month.
The winger took some time to address his future, saying; "As far as right now, I'm obviously just focused on what I'm doing here. And I'm super excited to be here. And yeah, that's it.
"Of course, I want to get more playing time.
"I want to be on the field as much as I can and be the sharpest I can be and fit as well.
"I think I still got a lot of games, but it's always something that I'm working at and trying to be regular at club level as well to put myself in the best position to be fit when I come here with the national team,"
The 23-year-old amassed eight goals and five assists in 38 total appearances for Chelsea during the 21/22 campaign.
