Kenya Premier League action resumed for the round 25 after a two week break that paved way for an international break that was followed by a Shield Tourney.

The versatile defender mounted a vigil of sort against the Soldiers that worked well in shielding theback line to that crucial  1-0 victory win. 

Super-Sub Benson Iregi was the destroyer in chief as City Stars eased their relegation fear with a rare victory  against Bandari FC in Mombasa, The offensive minded starlet was a constant nuisance to the Dockers defence and summed up a perfect evening with a goal and assist in the 3-1 on the road victory. His teammate and Vapour Academy graduate Oliver Maloba was also instrumental in insuring the downfall also from a similar substitute role. The tricky youngster came on to bag a goal and pin the hosts defenders back in their territory for the victory.

George Mandela opted to reserve his best for his former employers and what away to cap it by striking that early. The Ex Muho man wasted no time to register his name on the scores sheet setting the wining tone for the title chasing Tusker. The KPL 2015 young player of the year was also impressive all through the clash.

Fair to say that Jared Obwoge is doing justice to Millers recent upwards curve and his own goal haul with each given chance. The ex- Gor Mahia striker was at it again and after several unsuccessful attempts his persistence paid off with the all- important goal in the upset of visiting Military men.

Following his belated debut, Ebrima Sanneh has been swift in reminding just where he stands in list of foreign hit men in the Kenya’s topflight league. The Gambian got off the mark against Tusker from the spot and added to his tally in his with another equaisite strike that missed by a whisker to being a priceless match winner for the Taxmen.
