National Super League side FC Talanta will have a new look in the 2017 season with Kenya Under 20 coach John Kamau being the head coach and former Kenya International Simeon Mulama serving as Team manager.
Kamau will work with former Thika United head coach James Irungu as his assistant while Peter Muchoki has made a return as the physio. Former Harambee Stars coach Jacob Ghost Mulee will be among the club board members.
The arrival of Mulama and company comes few months after the disbandment of the entire FC Talanta technical bench that was done in December 2016.
The team has brought in 26 new faces in the playing unit after the January overhaul that saw most members of the 2016 squad released, reason being non performance.
Notable names include in the new squad include Kenya Under 20's Bernard Arum Ouma, John Macharia and Samuel Semo who also featured for Mathare United in the KPL Under Championship. Victor Nyasiwo from Mumbi Nationale, Mathew Kono from AFC Leopards junior side, former Sofapaka midfielder James Orundu and former Thika united star Remmy Katumanga are on the list.
