WPL side upbeat ahead of Olympic encounter

Women Premier League side Makolanders Head Coach Mike Okanga has hinted at a positive outcome when they encounter Mombasa Olympic on June 10, 2017.

Coach Okanga noted that the spirit within the camp after the break was positive.  He pointed out that the team believes that the game against Olympic would be theirs for the taking. He elaborated that the team had improved and he was happy with the recent performance. He was optimistic that despite them taking a long journey to Mombasa, he was positive the team would deliver.

Prepared

-The team is good so far. We have been training well and we have no injury concerns and that is a plus for us. We are going to play in Mombasa, we are not sure which means we shall take, train or bus. Whatever means we take, it will be fine with us. We are ready for the match and I hope travelling won't derail us from winning, he said.

Makolanders is 5th on the WPL Zone A Log, come into the match having won 5-4 against Soccer Sisters and drawn 1-1 with Mathare United. Olympic who are  2nd on the Log, come into the match having won its last two matches; 1-2 against Soccer Sisters and 3-0 against Mathare.
