Loss against Mathare termed a morale booster

Soccer Queens Head Coach Amos Kimani has expressed his and the players’ desire to scoop a win in their next League fixture against local rivals Soccer Sisters.

Coach Amos noted that the spirit in the camp was high. He pointed out that the 1-0 loss to Mathare United was a boost to the players to yearn for better results. He revealed that both he and the team are aiming to gather maximum points before the league heads for a break.

Local rivals

-We are training well. We are going to face our local rivals Soccer Sisters and it won’t be an easy game. The morale is good after we lost 1-0 to Mathare, the players want to get all the three points. So far the league is not simple, teams have shown importance of the league and when the break we will change strategy. We will have to look the best way to tackle second leg, he beamed.

Queens come into the match having lost 1-0 to Mathare United and won 5-3 against Spedag and is 6th in the WPL Zone A Log. Soccer Sisters come having lost two 5-4 to Makolanders and 1-2 to Mombasa Olympic. The game will be played on June 10, 2017.
