Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus escapes broken jaw following horror clash with Nicolas Otamendi during Brazil vs Argentina clash where his side lost 1-0.

This has been confirmed by Brazil team officials that the forward did not sustain a serious injury after undergoing precautionary tests at a Melbourne hospital. Jesus was off the field by stretcher during Friday’s friendly after being hit by an errant elbow during an aerial challenge with club team mate Nicolas Otamendi. Coach Tite had been concerned the 20-year-old Jesus had sustained a facial injury that might keep him out of Tuesday's friendly with Australia, also in Melbourne.

The City forward  was a constant threat in presence of 95,569 fans at the Melbourne Cricket Ground but missed Brazil's best chance to clinch an equaliser, striking the post in front of an open goal.
