WPL: Oserian delight in Vihiga downfall

Oserian Ladies were left to savour their Women Premier League victory over Vihiga Queens in a clash played at the Mumias Sport complex this Sunday 18 June starting 1100 hours. 

 A meeting between the two has always seen fire works in plenty and the Mumias encounter was no different despite failing to produce an early goals in the opening half.

Jentrixs Nabwire 65th minute strike was all that was needed this time to separate the two sides

Speaking after the tie,  coach Hudson Odari termed the maximum point as crucial coming from an a tough opponent

Tough rivals

-we are glad to get the maximum point from Vihiga. They have been among the toughest teams in the league and we hope the points, in addition to putting us in a firmly on the log, aids out morale also, he said.

The victory compounded a first defeat suffered by the host this season.
