Tusker trounces NSL side in a friendly

Kenya Premier League leaders Tusker FC thumped Police FC 8-3 in a friendly match played on Wednesday morning at Ruaraka Grounds.

Striker Allan Wanga and Noah Wafula gave the Brewers a 2-0 lead in the opening 20 minutes before Police FC pulled one back. Brian Osumba added another goal for a 3-1 lead.

Muchiri in 

Just before half time the National Super League side reduced the gap to 3-2. The Brewers later changed the squad coming to second and brought in fresh 11 players.

Mieno who picked a hamstring injury against Kariobangi Sharks featured and new signings Boniface Muchiri also got his chance to feature.

Muchiri, a former SoNy Sugar winger got on the scoresheet few minutes after Clifford Alwanga opened the second half scoring spree. Khamati Michael netted a brace for a 7-2 lead before Police scored their third goal. Khamati got his hat trick and final goal for a 8-3. win

Tusker FC is preparing to hold on the top spot as they face Bandari FC in Meru. Police on the other hand will resume their NSL campaign with St Joseph FC.
